E3S 2008 Special Exhibition: Innovation Forum for Solid Surfaces at ZOW

E3S (European Solid Surface Show & Engineered Stone Exhibition) is the European platform for solid surfaces, engineered stone and associated components. Part of ZOW – Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen [East Westphalia Supplier Show], the event once again brings together national and international manufacturers, craftsmen and suppliers to display their innovative products and technologies. On February 25-28, 2008, trade visitors to Hall 22.2 at the Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Center will find out about the new trends and developments at first hand.

Since 2006, E3S, the international industry forum for solid surfaces and engineered stone, has been staged as a special exhibition at ZOW in Bad Salzuflen. E3S’ stunning displays enrich the traditionally wide-ranging product spectrum available at ZOW for the furniture and interior design industries. Hall 22.2 is the venue for the latest technical developments and a whole host of applications using solid services and engineered stone.

Event Triple Bill for Technology and Design

ZOW and E3S provide architects, interior designers and designers with a valuable specialist forum plus a concise assortment of materials and structures which combines both product and built architecture and provides an opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas directly with exhibitors. The show organization has again ramped up the program of events for 2008 for this group of visitors.

Extended Program for Architectural Lounge

The Architectural Lounge – or “a-lounge” for short – has been an established point of contact and venue for visitors interested in architecture since 2007. Occupying more than 200 square meters in Hall 20, it provides a diverse range of information and presentations: the "a-view“ exhibition features specialist displays from the 2008 Lounge partners; the “a-test” invites visitors to give their professional evaluation of selected exhibitor products; the “a-way” service provides daily themed guided tours around the show, and the “a-net" schedules industry presentations and working papers on each afternoon of the show. The open plan a-lounge is available to trade visitors for discussions with colleagues, exhibitors and partners – and for unwinding gently at the end of the show day with wine, jazz music and canapés.

M Technology Award 2008

A further highlight for the E3S audience is the “M Technology Award 2008“, organized by iF. The award for outstanding supplier products is organized on a broad international basis by Hanover-based iF International Forum Design. The annual competition is open to exhibitors from the entire range of Survey's international ZOW events as well as to non-ZOW exhibitors. Submissions are welcome for all ZOW product categories – materials, chemical products, surfaces, interior design supply products, elements and systems, fittings, semi-finished products, industry-related services and concepts. The solutions which capture the international jury’s vote are available for viewing in the foyer in Hall 19.
