E3S 2006:
Successful launch for special exhibit exclusive to ZOW

From February 20-23, E3S - European Solid Surface Show & Engineered Stone Exhibition celebrated its premiere as a new feature and logical thematic addition to ZOW - Zuliefermesse Ost-Westfalen (East Westphalia Suppliers Show). Around 30 international manufacturers, craftsmen and suppliers of solid surfaces, engineered stone and components based on these materials presented their wares over a total of 5,000m² of exhibition space in Bad Salzuflen, Germany.

Taking stock of the first E3S to feature at ZOW, event organizer Survey Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co. KG, Bielefeld, posted a positive outcome. Underlining this, Managing Director Peter H. Meyer confirmed that E3S 2007 is already in the planning stage: "Our E3S exhibitors have told us that ZOW is a highly effective venue for their product groups with both the range of exhibitors and also the visitor target groups it attracts. This satisfaction is now materializing in the form of bookings and extensions on exhibition space for E3S 2007 by high-profile exhibitors."

The new Architects' Day was especially profitable for all involved. This was the opportunity for exhibitors to introduce their specialist know-how and product ranges directly to planners and decision-makers and to receive feedback.  More than 200 architects and planners took up the invitation to attend a day of professional seminars, including our hands-on "Material Test", and many were positively amazed at the multitude and quality of the presentations, which produced a wealth of new inspiration and contacts for both sides.

"E3S has demonstrated yet again that there is plenty of potential in Europe for growth in the supply of solid surfaces and engineered stone. It occupies a unique and special position in this market. Where else in Europe can you find the same comprehensive overview of the broad spectrum of materials, the latest technical innovations and the many types of applications for these products?" continues Meyer. "Given the current market trends and the growing acceptance of solid surfaces and engineered stone as material groups, we're very confident that in future E3S will cover an even broader exhibitor base and be further strengthened in its role as an attractive international trade forum, courtesy of ZOW."

The next E3S will take place from February 26 through March 1, 2007 at the "East Westphalia Exhibition Center" (Messe Ostwestfalen) in Bad Salzuflen, Germany.
